Porcelain Veneers

Get a beautiful new smile with Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain VeneersPorcelain veneers are thin, durable facings that are placed over teeth to improve their shape or color, to close gaps, or even to straighten mildly crooked teeth.

When properly designed, porcelain veneers have a very natural look. The porcelain used resists staining better than tooth enamel so they will rarely discolor and will retain their beauty for many years.

Veneers can completely transform a smile in just a couple of visits, and with the strong and durable porcelains we use, it’s a transformation that can last your lifetime.

Our doctors are very trained and experienced in creating new smiles using porcelain veneers, and between them they have placed many hundreds of veneers for their patients.

High-quality materials for a natural look and feel

Drs. VanderLugt and Mulder use a high-quality lab and some of the best aesthetic materials to create your veneers. Porcelain provides nearly the same strength and translucency as natural teeth. Each veneer is permanently bonded to the tooth with a resin or composite adhesive, holding them securely in place. Each veneer is handcrafted and stained to match that natural color of your own teeth.

For some, ultra-thin, minimal-prep Lumineers® are a good option. The doctors will decide based on the condition of your teeth if this is a good option for you.

You will work with the doctor to design your new smile.

Our simple procedure for your stunning veneers

During your Complimentary Consultation, you and the doctor will discuss your goals for your smile. The procedure will be explained and all your questions will be answered. The doctor will then help you pick the shape and shade of your veneers that best match your unique features, giving a natural look.

After the initial consultation, and if you are ready to move forward with getting porcelain veneers, impressions will be taken and a wax-up model may be created. Wax-ups are used to show you what the final result will look like. You and the doctor will work as a team to design your cosmetic makeover.

On your next visit, your teeth will be prepared to receive the veneers and the veneers will be placed. The doctor double checks to make sure that your veneers fit perfectly, feel comfortable and look beautiful.

Dental Bonding

Porcelain Veneers

Bonding can be a good solution for repairing small problems with your teeth.

Dental bonding, an economical alternate to veneers, can be a beautiful solution for many cosmetic imperfections. It is the adding of tooth-colored material to build, reshape and repair your teeth.

Bonding is usually used for smaller areas. For a larger area or a severely discolored tooth, veneers are recommended. See the doctor and have him examine your teeth – he’ll be happy to consult with you and discuss your options.
